Who we are
ClientYes, Inc. operates ClientYes, a service for creating and sharing business proposals. Contact hello@clientyes.com with privacy questions or requests.
Information we handle
When you create an account, we collect your email address, business name, account identifiers, and authentication information. When you use the studio, we store the proposals, pricing, client names, images, and other content you add.
If you respond to a proposal, we collect the name, email address, and optional message you submit, your confirmation that you want the business to contact you, and the response time. We record visits to shared proposals and show visit counts to the business. A visit does not verify a visitor’s identity. Signed-in owner previews are excluded from those counts.
We also process limited technical information, including IP addresses when handling requests and enforcing abuse limits, and operational logs to diagnose errors and keep the service working.
How we use it
We use this information to provide accounts and proposals, deliver requested messages, show client responses, provide support, prevent abuse, and maintain the service. We do not sell personal information or use proposal content for advertising. The AI agent features shown in product previews are in development; they do not currently process your proposal content.
Connecting your Google account
Connecting Gmail is optional. With your permission, ClientYes receives your Google account identifier and email address and sends proposal emails through Gmail on your behalf. Each email contains the recipient, subject, message, branding, proposal link, and PDF you prepare. Replies go to your connected mailbox. This integration does not read your inbox.
We store your connected address, account identifier, granted permissions, connection status, and an encrypted authorization token. We retain the proposal email and delivery record so you can review what was sent. Google processes the emails you send through its service. ClientYes never receives your Google password and does not use Google user data for advertising or to train general-purpose AI models.
Disconnect Gmail in Account & data to stop new Gmail deliveries and remove the stored authorization token. We also request revocation from Google. You can independently remove ClientYes access in your Google Account. An email already being sent may still arrive. Disconnecting does not delete previously sent messages from Gmail or recipients’ mailboxes. Account deletion removes the connection from our live service; encrypted backups follow the retention schedule below.
ClientYes’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the connected email features described here. Any permitted access or transfer of that data remains subject to those requirements, including restrictions on human access and business transfers.
Proposals belong to the business that sends them
A business chooses what information to put into a proposal and how to use the client responses it receives. ClientYes processes that content to provide the service to the business. Contact the sending business about its proposal or its use of your details. You may also contact us, and we will help direct or handle your request as appropriate.
Anyone with an active proposal link can view its published contents. Treat that link as private and share it only with intended recipients. Businesses can turn off links from their studio. Proposals are marked to discourage search indexing, but a recipient may still copy or download their contents.
Service providers and locations
We use Hetzner for application hosting and backups, Supabase for authentication, database and image storage, Resend to deliver application emails, and ImprovMX to forward mail sent to our contact addresses. Cloudflare Turnstile processes security-check information when it is enabled on an account form. These providers process information needed to perform their services. Our application and database are hosted in Europe; email and other providers may process information in other countries, including the United States.
We may disclose information when required by applicable law, to address misuse or protect rights, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable protections.
Cookies
ClientYes uses essential authentication cookies to keep you signed in and complete account verification. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in and other account features from working.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and proposal information while needed to provide the service. You can delete individual proposals, export your workspace, or permanently delete your account from Account & data. Account deletion removes the account, workspace content, and uploaded images from the live service. Unused images left after proposal edits or deletion are removed by scheduled cleanup after a seven-day grace period, during the next daily cleanup.
Encrypted backup copies follow a 30-day retention schedule. Operational access logs follow a 14-day retention schedule. We may retain limited information longer where required by law or necessary to resolve a dispute. A recipient’s own copies and records held by the sending business are outside ClientYes’s deletion controls.
Your choices
You can change response-email preferences and download your workspace from Account & data. For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests, email hello@clientyes.com. We may verify your identity before releasing or changing information. Your available rights depend on applicable law.
Children and changes
ClientYes is intended for business use by adults, not children. If you believe a child has supplied information, contact us so we can review it. We may update this policy as the service changes and will update the effective date. Material changes will be brought to your attention through the service or an appropriate account notice.
